Vision Exams & Glasses
Since 1974, the Lions of Louisiana have been giving the Gift of Sight by providing vision care to Louisiana residents that cannot afford this care on their own.
The Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation provides a complete comprehensive eye examination from a local Ophthalmologist or Optometrist and a pair of glasses at little or no cost to the patient.
To qualify, a patient must be a resident of Louisiana, meet the program’s income requirements (listed below), and be sponsored by a participating Louisiana Lions Club. (Call 504-525-7235 for the nearest participating club.)
LLEF partners with local vision clinics throughout the state to assist patients in need.
Patients are encouraged to continue exams regularly and are allowed to renew their application once a year.
